Animal
An animal I am,
Devouring my prey so cruelly
Surviving just to live
Living just to roam and feel
Nothing in me but base desires
Striving to satisfy my needs
Craving the scent of blood
Boiling my nerves to agitation
A little more longer, and I’ll be gone
The lands I once wandered will forget me
Whether they miss me or not
I’ll be no more, and no more shall I roam
Life is simply audacious for an animal
It’s a game of give and take, for an animal like me
One moment I have, savoring the wondrous libations
Next I’m dead, but that’s another story …
